AFL Releases New One-Click Cleaner MMC

April 2, 2024
AFL’s latest cleaning innovation will aid data centers utilizing AI services.

AFL recently launched the company’s next generation of One-Click cleaners, the One-Click Cleaner MMC. The MMC features an extended nozzle made for cleaning highly compact multi-fiber connectors, which are three times denser than MPO connectors. The product cleans the ferrule end-face of exposed MMC connectors as well as those within adapters, and MMC Jr. connectors. The cleaner increases productivity as it is faster than cleaning with traditional methods.

"The demand for AI is driving the need for more performance and higher density connectors”, said Arun Jain, AFL Director of Product and Marketing. "MMC connectors support the high demands needed for these facilities, and the One-Click simplifies the fiber cleaning process, delivering exceptional results and maximizing productivity."

Along with the other cleaners in AFL’s One-Click product portfolios, the MMC also makes cleaning simple and saves time through its one-push button.  “Additionally, the One-Click Cleaner MMC simplifies and expedites the removal of contaminants in VSSF connectors by combining a gentle cleaning action with a cost-effective, low-profile design.”

The product is available in either 16F or 24F MMC connector versions.
